Q.01What happens when I hit the $1,000 free cap?
New checkouts pause and Instagram DM automation stops until you upgrade. Anything already in a customer's cart still goes through.
Q.02Can I switch plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrades apply immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
Q.03Do Stripe's fees apply on top of Maketio's?
Yes — Stripe's standard processing fees apply to every transaction, on every plan. We don't add a markup on top.
Q.04What happens to my products if I downgrade?
Nothing gets deleted. If you're over your new plan's product limit, your oldest products stay published and the rest are unpublished until you're back under the limit.
Q.05Is there a free trial?
No separate trial — the Free plan is it. You can run up to $1,000 in lifetime sales before you need to upgrade.
Q.06How does Maketio actually make money?
Two ways: your monthly subscription on paid plans, and a small percentage of each sale. Together, that funds hosting, support, and new features.
